CUPCAKES - EXPRESS RANGE

The Express Range Cupcakes take less time to complete and therefore may be ordered fewer days in advance.

Bookings should be placed at least 5 days ahead.

Cupcakes are packed in boxes of 12.
For special, customized packaging requirements, additional charges may apply.

Please book early to avoid disappointment:
- minimum 2 weeks ahead for Premium Range Cupcakes and cakes
- minimum 5 days ahead for Express Range Cupcakes

For cupcakes, full payment is required 3 days beforehand for confirmation.

As for cakes, half the amount is required as a booking deposit, upon confirmation. The other half to be paid 3 days beforehand.

Fondant Facts

Fondant is a pliable (think Play Doh) icing made primarily from sugar.

Fondant is edible. Some people like its taste, while others find it too sweet. Peeling off the icing before eating the cake is totally acceptable.

DO NOT REFRIGERATE a fondant cake. The fondant will sweat once it is removed from the fridge and will turn into a gloppy mess. Fondant cakes are best kept in an air-conditioned room before the celebration. Leftover cake can then be refrigerated.

Gumpaste is what the hard pieces are made of. It is basically fondant with an extra ingredient to help it dry hard.

Gumpaste is also edible, though most people do not have the heart to eat the beautiful creations.

Gumpaste or fondant figurines can be kept as keepsakes. Very gently, lift the figurines off the cake and wipe its base clean with a damp cloth. Keep dry and store in a display container (not airtight) at room temperature. The longer it is exposed to air, the harder it will become.
